FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What will my son eat?

We have many options regarding meals while at BHA for the summer.

- 1-2 Times per week, we will visit the grocery store on the way back from the rink so that the guys may purchase their own meals, ingredients, or snacks to keep at the dorm.

- Because of our awesome location beside High Street in Medford, there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance that the boys can visit or even doordash food from directly to our dorm.

- IF the prior options will not suffice, we can make arrangements with the program's in-season chef, who can prepare and deliver meals to the dorm at an extra cost.

2. Is this camp for Goalies?

YES! Our summer camp loves Goalies! This is a great opportunity for young goaltenders to receive specific on-ice training and tons of repetitions in many hockey scenarios.  Last summer, our goalies improved immensely in categories such as puck tracking, rebound control, movement, and quickness. We love goalies at our summer camp to help improve our shooters and the quality of our small-area games.

3. What do the kids do when they return to the dorm and on the weekends?

We encourage the boys to get out and explore everything Boston offers in the summer. Last summer, the boys capitalized on great weather and free time in many ways.

- Exploring the great universities in the Boston area (BU, BC, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, and even more).

- Heading to beaches around Boston to improve their tan or play other sports

- Even finding extra ice in open skates or summer tournaments and showcases. We encourage participation in these but cannot be relied on for transportation as we are likely doing our own recruiting or scouting on these weekends.
